Stay Fit at Home
During this Corona virus pandemic, everything gets closed, and lockdown is forced by govt. By this lockdown, many of us dealing with one major problem, and that is how to stay fit during this lockdown period. We all know that Netflix and chilling are good but not for a long time.
Hence, today we are going to discuss some basic workout or exercise that makes us look fit and slim during this lockdown period as we all know that gyms and packs are closed, and that makes it more challenging to maintain our physic.
So, let’s see how we can stay fit at Home
Exercise is necessary-
Yes; you heard it right; exercise. There are a few workouts that you can do at home without any equipment—daily 15-30 mins. Of workout keeps your body fit and energetic. Below is the list of few exercises that you can do at home-
- Rope Jumping
- Push- up
- Jumping jacks
These are few basic workouts that help you to stay fit and make your body look attractive. These will also make your skin glowing.
Yoga se hi Hoga-
Yoga, is one of the oldest and pure forms to stay fit, energetic, and look younger. Now it’s a time to accept the reality when the whole world is praising yoga, so why not us. So few asanas or yoga poses will help you to stay fit.
- Bow pose- Dhanurasana
- Boat pose – Navasan
- Up dog pose- Adho mukha svanasana
- Sun Salutation – Surya Namaskar
Drink 8 Glasses of water per day-
Water is the only drink that makes you hydrated and does not contain any calories. You have to make a habit of drinking 8 glasses of water every day. Especially when you wake up in the morning, drink one cup of lukewarm water, if you want you can add 1 spoon of honey and half lemon also to make a better taste.
One can also choose detox drinks to stay fit in lockdown. We have already discussed it in point 3 that is our morning detox drink. Apart from this, you can also drink green tea, Cucumber mint detox drink. These are just a few detox drinks, although you can search for more and choose as per your taste.
Selecting the right food-
Choosing the right food over everything is essential. The plus point of this lockdown is we cannot eat any fast food. But that doesn’t mean we will become fit by this. Choosing the right food at home also plays a significant role in this. There are many foods in summer, which keeps us hydrated and help us to stay fit.
- Watermelons/ muskmelons
- Tomatoes and other citric fruit
Calories in Calories out-
keep an eye on how much Calories you are in taking and how much calories you are burning in the whole day. This will help you to track your performance daily.
- Calories burn > Calories Intake = Weight lose
- Calories burn= Calories Intake= maintain the weight
- Calories Intake > Calories Burn= Weight gain
Stay Motivated and positive-
Staying fit at Home or losing some weight is not a one day result. Everything on this earth is taking the time, and so do this also. All you need to stay positive and motivated daily. Also, track your performance every week, and day by day, you will reach more close to your goals.
By following these simple steps, you can make a big impact on your life in this lockdown period. By staying fit, you are not just looking good, but you will also feel positive, and you can also feel some type of positive change inside your body.
